Our standard timeline is 3-6 weeks to complete a website, but this depends on the project since the size and pace of any project is set by each client. How much input you can provide during the initial stages, your feedback, how soon the content is provided – all this affects the speed of completion. The functionality and revisions required will also play a role in your timeline.

No, the build of your website does not include monthly SEO. All items that we add to your website including text, photos and video can be seen by Google but that doesn’t mean you will rank #1. Yes! Wix is one of the most user-friendly and intuitive website builders out there on the market today. For clients with minimal web design experience, Wix makes it easy for you to manage your site on your own after we finish. Their template websites are to the point and they have custom website templates with specific functionality to achieve your website goals. We’ve worked on all sorts of websites in countless industries (all on Wix). Sidenote: Though we use Wix for the majority of our websites, we've built multiple websites on Wordpress, Shopify, and others with the same premium quality as the ones we build on Wix.

A lot! Your input and feedback is crucial to this website design and development process. We’ll start with a lot of questions about your needs, your likes, your wants and work with you to develop just the right look and functionality. We also request you to provide sample websites before we begin your project. Remember this is your website and we need your help and direction as to your final vision. If required, we will assist you in finding free stock images from websites such as RawPixel and Unsplash. Your assistance and direction will be required to find the perfect images, photographs, graphics, vectors for your website and your brand.

Yes! We love it when our clients take control of their website and learn to manage the content on their own website. You will have full access to the backend of your new Wix website upon migration to make simple text updates, photograph changes, new products and pricing can easily be changed on your own. However, we do recommend a professional (developer) to complete more complex changes and maintenance such as plugin updates, design or structure changes, and complex functionality requirements. We provide hourly tutorials upon completion of your website at $100 + tax per hour if you are interested in learning how to navigate through the backend to make minor updates independently.

We can help maintain your website, or you can do so yourself with the more minor changes. The choice is 100% up to you. We provide on-going support for many of our clients but it is not mandatory and you will not be charged a monthly fee. You can contact us as you require updates to your website and we will provide an hourly quote based on your requests.

No, you will be responsible for website hosting and domain. This will ensure that you will have full access to your website upon migration. Wix has amazing hosting packages that we will help you choose the best one dependent upon your hosting needs. We will also help you complete the migration to your new hosting package.

Honestly, the timeline for completion depends on the feedback and communication. Our design process is both collaborative and creative which does take time, but that's only because your vision is important to us and achieving what you will be proud of. That being said, design work can take anywhere between 2-3 weeks from start to finish.

To be extremely transparent, every service is custom pricing. It will be affordable, but it won't be cheap cheap (you know what I mean). You can choose to work with an incredibly cheap firm or you can choose to work with an affordable, reputable, and professional design agency like Forte + Family Technologies. Yes, you will own all of your design work. However, we do not offer any patent/trademark registration - this is a separate process that is optional on your end.

If you require additional revisions, that's always OK - these things can happen. We charge an hourly rate of $100 and the final price will be discussed with you once we go over the revision process.

Each design project is a collaborative process between Forte + Family and the client. We encourage the client to bring in any samples, color combinations/swatches, and ideas they may have to help us get an idea of style before starting to work with new clients. During the design process, the client is asked to review, provide feedback and revisions.

Yes, you will receive the finalized vector, PNG, and JPEG files for all your design work. With these files, your designs can be used to complete stationery and brand marketing - including, but not limited to business card, letterhead, envelopes, brochure designs, websites, mailing labels, presentation folders, and more!
